Shiraz Recycling Organization, as its main objective, aims to avoid any harm to the environment and atmosphere by reducing emission factors at its landfill site located in Barm-e-Shour, adjacent to the north of Shiraz.
To this end, they invited the reputable and specialized entities of the private sector to invest and operate a power plant with the capacity of 1MW.
Shiraz domestic waste capacity is circa 700 ton/day and the wastes are transferred into the main area of the site after segregation.
As the first step, the company planned to capture the LFG produced at the site to be transferred to the company nominated as the power plant owner (IPP).
